Council Responsibilities
The Department Council proposes to the College Board:
The study plan, curriculum, textbooks, and references.
The Council proposes the appointment and promotion of faculty members, lecturers, and teaching assistants.
The Council studies scientific research projects.
The Council distributes lectures, exercises, and training activities to faculty members and teaching assistants.
Forming permanent or temporary committees from among its members to organize and coordinate the department's work.
