About the Department
The Dental Health Sciences Department aims to graduate professional dental technologists who can assist dentists in providing optimal dental treatment while restoring proper function and smile aesthetics. Patient expectations have skyrocketed with advances in novel materials and new technologies. These expectations drive us to work toward excellence and achieve our goals.
Today, our department is highly skilled and meets the demands of the external environment. We have highly qualified and experienced faculty members who have achieved academic success in training future technologists. We have state-of-the-art infrastructure, with fully equipped laboratory consoles for each student, and up-to-date training equipment.
With the addition of a fully equipped CAD CAM technology teaching laboratory, the department has recognized the relevance of CAD CAM technology in dentistry at the end of the bachelor's program, which consists of four years of training and a one-year rotary internship. The student is fully competent to work in the dental field, improve the quality of life for his fellow students, and contribute to nation-building.
